- HOW IS IT AFFECTED BY CLIMATE CHANGE?
- The ocean has been rising and has affected places such as The Amazon River. The Amazon is in South America and it's land is lower to the surface than usual. Over the last 100 years, the ocean has rose up 10-20 millimeters. But global warming can cause this 1-2 millimeters to become 5 millimeters. Global warming in the Amazon can also cause deforestation.
