  •  The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand - June 28th, 1914
  • Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife were both assassinated by a terrorist group which later led to the beginning of WW1.
  • The First Battle of Marne - septemper 1914
  • The French and British army had acted against the Germans since they invaded Belgium with a radius of 30 mi to Paris. This action quickly escalated to WW1 taking place.
  • The Zimmerman Telegram - January 1917
  • The coded note was sent from the Germans to Mexico, but Britain got hold of the message and told the U.S. that there would be a war.
  • The Russian Revolution - March 1917-1923
  • The Russian Revolution was the last event that had taken place in World War 1. Russia was removed from this war, and changed from a monarchy to a Communist state. 
  • U.S. Enters World War 1
  • April, 1917
  •   Germany had sunk many American ships that contained supplies and food, so they decided to join the war against Germany.
  • The Treaty of VersaillesJune 1919This was a treaty of peace between the U.S. and Germany that ended WW1. Germany dealt with issues such as giving up their own land, paying for all the damage they have created and reducing their armies.
