- The British taxed the colonists for the payments of the troops which made the colonists mad.
- The British passed some unfair laws which again the colonists weren't happy about because it included taxation.
- What is this! How dare they think they have control over what we do and our laws.
- We should probably tax all imported goods just to make money. Also, we should pass stupid laws
- In the Boston Massacre, five American colonists were killed by British soldiers which angered the colonists even more.
- The British were infuriated when they found out about the Boston Tea Party, so they passed some very harsh laws which the colonists labeled the Intolerable Acts.
- What is this! Now they've thrown all our tea into the harbor. That's it, I've had enough with these idiotic Americans.
- British men blockaded the Boston Harbor, which meant no one in or out. This included shipped goods.
- Oh dear mother, now the British have blocked our harbor
- Colonists united after the British blockaded the harbor.
- Are you down to fight the British
- Yeah!
- The colonists sent representatives from each state to meet with the king. The wanted to do away with the Intolerable Acts, but they never got a reponse
