  • 1. One very beautiful, and silent night this august, my cousins and their parents came to our house to have a sleep over. The breeze of the mountains in Lebanon made me feel so relaxed, happy, and cheerful.
  • 2. That night, once everything was settled down and the 6 little ones were in bed, my 2 big cousins, and I got ready to go to a really nice restaurant with our parents. The restaurant served amazing steak.
  • 3. After laughing a lot, and having a really good time, we went to a nearby music festival. It was absolutely amazing!! There were food trucks, and ice cream stations everywhere. As well as the latest music hits!! We had a blast!!!
  • 4. Once we reached home, it was around 10:30 p.m. So, we had a little bit more fun in the balcony, then went to bed. We were exhausted!!
  • 5. I woke up the next day, and saw that everyone was awake, active, making noises, and having fun. So, I got dressed real quick, and ran down stairs.
  • 6. Once I everyone was downstairs, we ate breakfast, then got ready, and finally we set off to a really nice area in the south east… After an hour and a half in the car, we finally arrived to our destination.
  • 7. We ate lunch, and while our parents were having an endless talk, we went to the backyard of the restaurant. My big cousin and I spotted a really beautiful area ahead... Without telling anyone, we walked there and found a bunch of rocky plateaus.
  • 8. We started climbing the rocky plateaus we found, and once we reached the top, we had a small challenge. Then, while we were having another walk, some cactuses poked my legs, so I removed them, and we continued...
  • 9. We continued to the end, and to our surprise, we found a small grotto. We were really tempted to go inside, but we resisted this temptation because it was very dark, and that area was filled with snakes, and insects.
  • 10. After a while, we thought it was time to walk back. So, while we were doing that, we spotted a rather small mountain, that could not be considered a hill. We started climbing it.

  • 11. Unfortunately, I faced a conflict. I have muscular problems. My knees, and shoulders hurt whenever I move around, climb, play sports, or even get active with everyone else. Therefore, I couldn’t continue climbing the mountain with my cousin, and had to go back down.
  • 12. It hurts me to think about it because I couldn't do what an average teenager could do. Add to all that, my parents took me to literally every single doctor that they know in Dubai and Lebanon, and none could find a solution.
  • 13. (Continuation to box #12) Like every single one...
  • 14. (Right after box 12 and 13. Put the pictures after each other to show that many doctors couldn't find a solution).
  • 15. However, I looked at the positive side of thing, and said to myself that my conflict is nothing compared to the conflict that other children, and teenagers face.

  • After my cousin came back down from the rocky mountain, we ate desert, and then drove off to a really nice forest. The forest was absolutely magnificent!!
  • There were deer, ducks, frogs, and many more animals. The wind smelled amazing, everywhere you looked around you could see beautiful miracles of nature, you could hear the sound of birds tweeting, leaves rattling, and the wind blowing...
  • After a while, we were all exhausted!! So, we decided we would walk back to the car, and venture home!! We had a lot of fun in the car. We chatted through open windows, then relaxed when the cold, and relaxing air of the mountains blew in our face.
  • Once we were at home, we had a little bit more fun, showered, ate dinner, then went to bed to get ready for another big day!!
  • This event is really important to me because I made unforgettable memories, and had a blast with my family. That event also showed me that nothing is more precious than your family.
