- The Indus Valley is located along the Indus River. The Indus Valley became a civilization 5000 years ago. Like I said the Indus River is very close to where we live.
- Homes
- People didn't have to go far to get to their work because their work was most likely in their house! Also people hung out on top of their roof where it was cool!
- Toilets/Sewer Systems
- Bathroom
- The sewer systems let everyone (rick and poor) have a toilet in their home. The dirty water flowed out of their house, through the sewer system and into the Indus River.
- The Great Bath and Rituals
- The Great Bath was used for religious rituals because bathing rituals are important in Hinduism. Some people might have enjoyed bathing is the cool water.
- This green thing that I am holding is a tag, or seal. Seals were important because they were used as tags on goods and as something that we would wear around our wrist to keep evil away.
- Seals
- Trade was important because everyone could get everything they needed because of trade. They also exchanged goods instead of using money.
