Storyboard Text

  • Howdy! My name is Ella. I will be explaining different human environment interactions and how we use them in our everyday lives!
  • First I will talk about how we depend on the environment. The environment provides us with things such as different foods and water which is something we see everyday.
  • It's currently Fall and the temperature drops and it gets a little chilly. Me and my friend Daniel are wearing jackets to adapt to the current  season! This is one of MANY examples of adapting to the environment.
  • See that dam over there? This is an example of modifying the environment. Another example could be a bridge or the roads we drive on!
  • A few more examples of HEI could be they ways we respond and prepare for natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and tsunamis. We protect ourselves by having a storm cellar in our homes or storing more food and supplies.
  • Rescue teams are sent out to help people who are in danger and evacuation is also an option!
  • In conclusion, we interact and depend on the environment everyday! Be sure to hug a tree and say thank you to your local farmers!
