- Oh no! How could she do this to me? Betty kidnapped my daughter and took her away from me! That traitor! Now I'm left all alone without my family :(
- The custody of Mahtob is now transferred to Betty Mahmoody. Also, Sayyed Bozorg Mahmoody is now legally restrained from contacting Mahtob.
- I got a letter from the U.S. Department. It says that I am now divorced. How can I be divorced when I wasn't even represented in court. How can she take my daughter away from me like that? It is too late to even to there and set things right.

- I'm trying to find my daughter online so I can find a phone number so I can talk to her. I just want a chance to talk to her, to hear her voice. It has been over twenty years since we saw each other.
