They got the chance to rest in a shed. Elie father didn't let him to slept in the snow because it is dangerous. Rabbi came looking for his son and Elie told him he didn't see him. When he left, Elie then remembers who his son was. After marching after a while they came to camp Gleiwitz. One the third the people they pushed to the right got to leave. The people to the left had to stay.
The people were crammed into a train car. When the train stops, the S.S officers tell them to throw out the dead bodies. It made them happy because they would have more room. Elie father looks pretty dead but Elie revises him just in time. Some Germans throw bread into the train. People started fighting over it. They were killing each other for it. That night someone tried to strangle but a dude named Meir Katz. The train finally arrives at Bunchenwwald.
Elie and his father got to take a hot shower. Elie didn't let his father take a seat in the snow. He was not letting him give up. When Elie woke up, his father was gone. He searched for hours. Elie finds his father back at the block. He kept him alive for days. Elie father wanted water but the S.S officers hit him with a club. He stayed up with his father for a while but then went to sleep. When he woke up he father was dead. He was free at last.
He stayed at this camp until April 11. After his father died nothing mattered to Elie to him. The S.S officers started evacuated the Jews. But some didn't get to leave like they were supposed to. They had to wait another day but they had a shootout. The S.S scatters and leaves. They are free at last. Elie got sick some days later and went to the E.R. He looks in the mirror and dosent recongnized himself.
