  • For brave Macbeth-well he deserves that name-disdaining fortune (I ii 16-17)
  • We will proceed no further in this business, He hath honored me of late (I vii 32-33)
  • What beast was't, then, That made you break this enterprise to me? When you durst do it, then you were a man (I vii 48-50)
  • I'll go no more. I am afraid to think what I have done; Look on it again I dare not (II ii 49-51)
  • Macbeth is seen as a hero for causing the death of Macdownald
  • Here Macbeth is telling Lady Macbeth that he connot kill Duncan because he will have no honor left in him. However Lady Macbeth says that if he doesn't do this he will no longer be a man
  • Once Macbeth has already committed the murder he immediately regrets it. It shows that he fell into peer pressure from his wife that he wanted to prove to her that he was a man.
