- This showed the greed of Madame Loisel, and how she is a flat character that only cares about being wealthy.
- This shows that Mr. Loisel was a Dynamic character that cared alot for Madame Loisel
- this shows forshadowing because it tells the reader the necklace didnt mean that much to ms. forrester, and it turns out its because the necklace was actually a cheap one
- this shows madame losiel is a dynamic character, because she dosent accept who she is in the beginning, and believe she deserves riches
- It is set in Paris, in the late nineteenth century. back when they dressed differently, more elegant
- One of the central themes of "The Necklace" is that of appearance vs. reality. For Mathilde, the necklace symbolizes wealth, beauty, and, ultimately, shame, as she loses the necklace The great irony of the story is that the necklace was a fake.
