  •  BLACK WALL STREET
  • Greenwood was a home for the Black commercial district, whose many red brick buildings belonged to Black Americans and housed thriving businesses, including grocery stores, banks, libraries, and much more, one of the most affluent African-American communities in the country and leading to the nickname, "Black Wall".
  •  It all began during the Memorial Day weekend after 19-year-old Dick Rowland, he was accused of assaulting Sarah Page at the elevator operator of the nearby Drexel Building.
  • 3,000 African Americans dead and over 600 successful businesses lost. The whites took advantage and scared the African-american
  • People demands justice cause it ain't fair how African-americans have to go thru bad things they want a better future for others.
  • The Tulsa race massacre took place on May 31 and June 1, 1921, when mobs of White residents, many of them deputized and given weapons by city officials, attacked Black residents and destroyed homes and businesses of the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma, US.
