- Oh my gosh.. What are you going to say!? I mean.. you can't lie to her!
- Oh no! Bella, my mum just texted me asking if it is true that I snuck out last night to go to the party. How did she find out? I told her I was at your house!
- Hmm, I'm not sure. It's not my choice and its up to you.
- Well, I have two options. I could lie and say "Of course not, I was with Bella the whole time!" or tell her the truth about where I was last night...
- Let's think of some pros and cons of each choice. So, if I were to lie, I could get away with it without getting in any trouble, but I would feel guilty about lying to her. But if I were to tell the truth, she would be mad and I would get in a lot of trouble, but I wouldn't have to live with a lie.
- Well, morally, the right thing to do would be telling the truth and taking the pain. Even though you might not want to do it and it doesn't seem like the easiest thing to do right now, you won't regret it when you're older.
- Bella's right... but I really hate getting in trouble!
- Okay...
- Alright, I'll text her now and tell her the truth.
- Good job, you definitely made the right choice!
- Wow! She wasn't as mad as I thought she would be, but even if she was, I think I did the right thing by telling her the truth.
