- August “Auggie” Pullman is a 10-year-old boy with a facial deformity. He lives in North River Height in upper Manhattan, New York. He is going to a new school, this will be his first time attending regular school.

- At school August meet some kid. But he see kid looking at him as if, something is wrong with him.People start making fun of him by make something up called the plague if you touch August you have plague

- At dinner table Via didn’t want no one to go to the play because she didn’t want no one to talk about August face at school but August doesn’t know. August just lash out on Via.

- Via goes in his room. Via try to August you have to deal with kids and August said, “What about you!” Via said, “ It's not about me!" August told her Miranda call Via said, “What she say.” August said, " Nothing about you.”
