- WE ARE THE BEST COUNTRY!! WE ARE DIVERSE, INDEPENDENT, AND EQUAL.
- WE NEED MORE RESOURCES TO FUEL AND BUILD THE SECOND INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION.
- OUR COUNTRY IS GREAT, BUT IT WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF WE HAD MORE RESOURCES.
- Nationalistic countries believe that their country is the best. They think they are the best because of their way of life, culture, and government. Other countries got jealous of nationalistic countries achievements. Nationalism's greediness and lack of negotiating was a great cause of World War 1.

- Imperialistic countries believe that they are not treated equally because of their lack of resources. These countries used violent threats to get resources from other countries. Some people believed that using their money and spheres of influence to negotiate with other countries was better than using violent techniques to get what they wanted. The Open Door Policy assured imperialistic countries equal privileges.
- Militaristic countries believe that they can become nationalistic if they have more resources. The militaristic countries use their strong military to intimidate other countries and steal their businesses and resources to make them richer. Stealing from other countries helps the militaristic country to become nationalistic.
