The Lost Sheep
Storyboard Text
- Parables are stories that Jesus told everyone. The parable Jesus had told had a message.
- The Shepard took care of all of his 100 sheep. He counted the sheep every night to make sure that he always had 100 sheep.
- When one evening he only counted 99 sheep. The sheperd was really worried about where his 1 sheep went to. He went out to search for the lost sheep.
- If you leave God's side, he will always protect you no matter where you are.
- Oh no! One of my sheep are missing!
- While the shepard was searching he found found the lost sheep stuck in a pile of rocks. The shepard was very happy that he had the sheep. He was so happy he carried the sheep on his back all the way back to the farm.
- The shepard was so happy that he threw a party and invited everyone because he found the lost sheep that he had been looking for.
- The message of the parable is if you leave God's side he will always try to protect you no matter where you are.
