Storyboard Text

  • “Where’s Mami?” I ask, feeling the same mounting panic I felt earlier when Mami left with the SIM.
  • The SIM just left they house Chucha, Lucinda, and I are all at the front of the house. I as oried she had to go with the SIM. But, she actually didn't and was just on the phone.
  • “She’s on the teléfono, calling Don Mundo,” Chucha explains.
  • The SIM is stalking everyone for the dictator. They have Microphones and cameras in every house.
  • “Esos animales,
  • “Don’t worry,” Mundín says, “I don’t think a bullet can get through that coffin!” “Bullets!”
  • The parent not sleeping on the bed because the SIM is unpredictable. They would without hesitation shoot the house up and they already come in the house, so its better be prepared then not ready
  • “Are they really policemen?” I keep asking Mami. It doesn’t make any sense. If the SIM are policemen, secret or not, shouldn’t we trust them instead of being afraid of them? But all Mami will say is “Shhh!”
  • The younger sister is getting very curious about hats going on. Also, she keep asking everyone questions.
  • My last resort is asking Lucinda. My older sister has been in a vile mood since the SIM cornered us in our own house. Lucinda loves parties and talking on the phone, and she hates being cooped up.
  • She's fed up with not getting answers, She was so curious she went to the last person she knew to possibly get info
  • “SHHHH!”
  • “And abandon Tío Toni?” “What if he comes back? What if he needs our help?”
  • This about the family not wanting to abandon their uncle. The older sister is telling this to her younger sister. But, she got a little loud.
