"The Crucible" begins with Tituba,Abigail, Betty, and other girls from the village gathering around and performing rituals.
After being discovered by Reverend Parris, Betty pass out and goes into a comatose state while Abigail trys to pass off the events as dancing
After discussing the events with others in the village, Parris sets off to perform his duties in church, meanwhile Betty wakes up and trys to fly out the window to go to her mother after the people in the church started singing making some believe she can't her the lords name without pain.
"You loved me, John Proctor, and whatever sin it is you love me yet!"
"I've heard you be a sensible man, Mister Hale--I hope you‘ll leave some of it in Salem."
After being interrogated by Hale and Parris, Tituba confess to talking with the devil and list names of people who she supposly saw with him, at which point both Abigail and Batty joins in saying the names of others in the villiage.
