Angelina and her sister meet Frederick Douglass, a former slave who speaked with a thunder voice in front of people. After these two sisters meet they were inspired and after hearing Frederick story, they were extremely inspired to speak in front of more people about ending slavery
these three people were able to change what people think, they made speeches in front of people talking about what they believe. They might have been the reason for why slavery ended. Even thought they did get to end slavery right away, they open a new door for slaves and gave them opportunity to become free and have rights like white people do.
