- A fruit farmer was planting new seeds at his farm and a visitor comes up to him.
- Hey! I don't think you should be working this close to your digging!
- Farmers’ exposure to pesticides can be reduced through less use of pesticides and through the correct use of the appropriate type of personal protective equipment in all stages of pesticide handling.
- You're inhaling those nasty pesticides!
- Why not?
- Some pesticides and synthetic chemicals (HAAs) have similar shapes and can replace hormones (hormone mimics, hormone blockers)
- So you being too close to your crops is very bad! Those crops are showered in chemicals that can be extremely toxic to humans.
- Long-term exposure to some chemicals in the environment can disrupt human body systems,especially the immune, nervous, and endocrine systems.

- From now on I'll use protective wear when I'm around my crops! Thanks!
