Storyboard Text
Muhammad's migration to Medina is known as the Hijrah.
He taught the people there about the new religion, spreading its main ideas.
His closest colleagues later referred to him as a very kind and friendly person.
Muhammad and the other Muslims had been attacked multiple times by Meccans before they had decided to start a war with Mecca.
The war lasted a long time and Muhammad had gathered a large, Islamic army by the time that the final conquest of Mecca began.
The conquest was successful, with a very little amount of deaths.
