- Did you hear what the king is doing to northern colonies.
- Yes I think we should help them and give them some of our crops to them.
- The intolerable acts was when the British stopped any goods going into the colonies until the colonists payed back the expenses from the tea. This was destroying Massachusetts economy.
- The 1st continental congress was a meeting with a representative from each colonies to discus what they were going to do about the current situations in the colonies.
- We are meeting here today to discus the current state of our colonies.
- The king has found these meeting to be an act of treason and wants us dead. If we want to keep these colonies we must go to war. All in favor say I
- The kings response to the letter was that the colonists should be dead and the meetings will end. The colonists found that the only way to break ties with the king was to go to war.

- At lexington a small militia met the british army marching towards there stock of weapons. They were given orders not to fire until they were fired at. This was the start of the war.
