"The Convention's Delegates" Some of the big names present were: George Washington, Ben Franklin, James Madison,
"I, Edmond Randolph propose the "Virginia Plan"!
"I, William Patterson propose the "New Jersey Plan!"
"The Delegates Assemble" They came together to set up a new federal government which was both strong and limited in it's power.
It took a while but we came to a compromise and now have a new Constitution!!
"THe Convention Begins" They had to pick a leader and had guards posted to keep everything secret!
"The Virginia Plan" Multiple plans were introduced as to how we should set up out new government. The Virginia Plan and the New Jersey plan were the big two.
"THe Great Compromise" The two main plans were blended together to create the form of government that we have today.
