- Jonas receives all of the memories successfully and now he has more than the giver.
- Stage 3 Rescue From Without
- "Jonas found a sled at the top of the hill'
- He finds out that "release" is another word for killing people. Then him and the giver make a plan to release all the memories to the community but he is hesitant.
- Stage 3 The Crossing or Return Threshold
- Jonas goes on the journey to leave the community then he starts running out of food and it is really cold. All they want to do is get to the land beyond.
