- The story begins as the end of winter is transitioning to spring.

- Harvey is tired of getting picked on by her mother and having to do everything for her. Her brother has to do nothing for his mom he can just sit there and watch tv.
- Resolution
- Mom and Harvey start to understand what they have done wrong,and mom starts treating her kids the same way. Harvey is very happy to know that her mom is treating them the same.
- The family was having a paper boat race. 3,2,1 the race began under the magnificent April sun. All seven of us ran to the end to see who was going to win all of the sudden Scott's boat got stuck on the drain. The current was toostrong for him to get in and grab the paper boat. After a while the boat slid off the ice floe on its own.
- They heard an ambulance outside their door they went to see if everybody was ok, and they found out it was theirgrandmother she was hurt. They went to visit her in the hospital after a while they went home. It was the next day when they got a call from the hospital and found out that she was ok and could come home tomorrow, they were all so happy.
