- Hey timmy i've been thinking about the environment and climate change lately
- How does this relate to climate change?
- See this car, this car uses natural gas which is a fossil fuel
- When fossil fuels are burned they release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere
- Are there any other factors that contributes to global warming?
- Oh I see, now I understand how car pollution has a big impact on global warming
- All of the carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are being trapped inside the earth's atmosphere which is causing global warming
- Of course!Let me show you
- Wow! all the plants are so beneficial yet accounts for a large part of global warming
- Isn't that a good thing?
- Of course not!Even though almost a third of the world's electricity is powered by these coal power plant hundreds of thousands of people are dying from air pollution
- Here we are at a coal-fired power station. Coal is a fossil fuel being burnt to create electricity
- If we the world continues with these nasty behaviours ice will continue to melt at alarming rates and ocean levels will start to rise and possibly flood cities even more!
