Hi! I'm Yuan Yttrium of 9A, and this is my comic strip about Ionic & Covalent bonds!
Hi Chantal! Would you like to bond and study about compounds later?
Of course! I'd love to.
So, what are your thoughts about Ionic & Covalent compunds?
They're like people, always striving to get better. But in their case, Both Ionic and Covalent aim to have 8 valence electrons. And the "criss-cross" method is a simple way to deconstruct compounds to know its anion and cation,
A small alteration in the charge may change the formula and the entire word of the whole compound, which makes it very diverse.
How about you? What do you think about the connection between Ionic and Covalent bonds?
It's fairly simple! You should just be familiar with the prefixes involved such as "Mono" for 1, "Di" for 2 , so on and so forth. As well as knowing when to change to formation of words by adding suffixes
How can you name Covalent Compounds?
Chantal, this magazine is on a promo "Buy 1 Get 1" for 200PHP but I'm 100PHP short. Do you want to share?
