Storyboard Text
- "Son go and pursue your interest for the arts."
- The play starts by introducing the main characters, Mother and Son.They do not have a good relationship and are often argueing.
- Son feels that he is not loved by his mother as compared to his siblings and attributes it to middle child syndrome.Mother calls him a disappointment.
- Mother and Son disagree about his choice to pursue an education and career in the arts while father supports him wholeheartedly.Mother does not think it is a respectable job.
- Son asks mother why she hates him so much and explains that it is because of his art job that allowed him to look after her.Mother says she would rather die than to be at his mercy.
- Mother reveals that she loves her son and just want to protect him from the judgement from others.Son shares that he loves mother too.
- The play ends by revealing that mother has died.It is a tragic ending as both Mother and Son did not get to tell each other that they love each other.
