Elias is an immigrant from Germany at the age of 24 who had then lived in Maryland after his long trip was strolling down to the local bar with no success in finding a job that was right until he saw a poster on the outside of the right window of the bar for immigrants needed for work at Schorr's Factory Inc. for 20 cents an hour.
Elias working with machines all day for another 12 hours was happy for his check on Friday, but was exhausted too as in real life immigrants had lived like this every week in America with more jobs given to them for a low amount of money for more workers to produce a mass quantity of goods.
