  • It was a document promising english governmental power to be free or an autonomy. The significance of this event is that it set limits on the power of the british monarchy. As well as one of the first written records of a structured government.
  • Navigation Acts October 9, 1651
  • Most commonly described as human actions done under the influence of good and could lead a person to heavenly destiny. The laws were not being carried out so the colonists became use to governing themselfs.
  • English Bill of Rights December 16, 1689
  • Enlightenment known as the Age of Reason was described as a movement related to creative thinking and knowledge. It lead to the revolution by the want for a new governement and people wanting freedom/independence.
  • Great Awakening 1730-1740
  • The Navigation Acts were a group of laws that controlled foreign ships, to regulate trade. It lead to the revolution by the colonies feeling like they were being treated unfairly.
  • An act declaring set rights of the people, It lead to the revolution caused by lack of justice applied by the controlling governemnt of the British.
  • The Great Awakening was periods of religious improvement. Assuming the change of peoples religious beliefs lead to the revolution.
