- 1) This here is Nova, Nova wanted to go grocery shopping today. She usually goes to the same one since they have really good deals and prices. But wait... it's closed?!
- 2) Businesses closing down; in the business cycle this stage is called recession.
- Might be time to switch stores
- CLOSED
- Well look at that, lower prices! Deflation must be going on.
- 2) After the process of recession, businesses tend to get to an all time low. Which explains the decrease in prices. This stage is called depression.
- 1) After getting back into her car, Nova realized she needed more gas. Hold on a sec, no gas prices have lowered?! Well that's lovely.
- 3) Businesses coming back and prices going up show progress in the business. In recovery or at its peak Since they don't have to rely on customers anymore
- 1) It's been a couple of months since we've seen Nova. Let's check up on her.
- 2) Looks like it's a shopping day again, but wait something's different. Prices are higher than before!! That stinks.
- Prices went up? Gross!
