- My family goes up to the Adirondacks every summer to this place that focuses on conservation. They have over 50,000 acres of preserve that they maintain to ensure the natural land isn't developed or exploited. I've learned through my family the importance of caring for the environment around us and recognizing how luck we are to enjoy such beautiful places and the wildlife that comes with them.

- In college, I spent a semester interning for Oxfam International, a humanitarian organization, where I saw the intersection of human and environmental issues and how they disproportionately impact what we often refer to as "developing countries." Because of this, I came back to school my senior year and am writing my thesis on the topic, highlighting the incredible work and ingenuity of those countries, notably Ethiopia. I became interested in renewable energy and the innovation that spurs out of necessity and hard work.

- I work full-time for a tech company on their internal consulting team after doing corporate finance for two years. While I love solving problems for different parts of the business, i wish the subject matter of my work were focused on environmental issues.
- I'm so glad to be back in school part-time, being able to take such a wide range of courses and learn more about the clean energy space and the opportunities to get involved, especially from an investment standpoint.
