What's that and how did you get it?

Well.....

Hey Tim, why were you not at school last week?

I had chicken pox!

I was just playing on the pier with this guy I saw, he had red bumps on him. Then, he coughed on me. I thought nothing of it because I thought he had asthma.

I was fine, until a week later when I started to feel sick. This was my body trying to fight off that disease

But, because of this, I got a rash that turned into some itchy and fluid-filled blisters which turn into scabs and they spread all over my body!

Now, if you ever get chicken pox, do not worry. It is very common in most countries and especially for kids my age (most cases are from kids 10 and under)

Next time, I will know to tell my mom so I can get varicella vaccine which helps stop chicken pox.

After about 10 days I felt better thanks to the vaccine, medicine, and my mom!

To help, my mom gave me some antiviral medication, that means it is effective against viruses. The two main ones were Sitavig and Zovirax. They got rid of a lot of my symptoms
