- Buddhism is the targeted religion for this book because it is a less famous religion. This book is about the Encounter with the divine because the story of Guatama becoming Budda is special and odd. Targeted audience are 8 to 11 year olds. The book is visual, short, large scale and easy to understand words, but at the same time introduces important concepts.

- About 2500 years ago, Siddhartha Gautama was born into a rich Indian family.

- One day, after growing up, marrying and having a child, Siddhartha went outside the royal castle where he lived and saw for the first time people who were sick, old, and dead.
- This inspired Siddarta that sickness, age, and death are unavoidable to all human beings. He decided to leave his protected royal life and live as a homeless man.
- I am going to live as a homeless man!
