Targeted audience are 8 to 11 year olds. The book is visual, short, large scale and easy to understand words, but at the same time introduces important concepts.

One day, after growing up, marrying and having a child, Siddhartha went outside the royal castle where he lived and saw for the first time people who were sick, old, and dead.
This inspired Siddarta that sickness, age, and death are unavoidable to all human beings. He decided to leave his protected royal life and live as a homeless man.
