- Abusive slave owners & overseers
- Levi Coffin was a station master and helped thousands of slaves and was later called the president of the U.G.R.R.
- Slaves escaping & the ones that dont.
- Harriet Tubman was a slave and escaped in her 30s with her brothers. She went back to the south 19 times to rescue other slaves. Slaves owners were scared of her because she could take their slaves.
- The people in the U.G.R.R. that helped with slavery.
- Slaves were mistreated by their owners and overseers. Some of them died by the injuries they had. Some slave owners put collars to keep slaves from escaping.
- A lot of slaves escaped but a big portion didn't. Only 100,000 slaves escaped when there was 2,009,048 slaves. So 1,999,048 slaves didn't escape.
- Will we ever escape after our last try?
- I don't know I just don't want to be here anymore.
- All the people in the U.G.R.R. like Levi Coffin or Harriet tubman. That helped with slavery risked their lives to help slaves. And I think that needs to be acknowledged more.
