  • The French and Indian war was a war between France and Great Britain the war was also known as the 7 year war. During the War British sent troops to the Americas lead by George Washington to get land in the Americas. The British ended up winning the war with the colonist.
  • "Shot heard round the world"
  • After the French and Indian War England had wasted a lot of money into winning the war and left England little to no money. When they were trying to figure a way to make more money they thought of Taxes. They put taxes on everything that the colonist would buy.
  • Battle of Yorktown
  • The Boston Tea Party was a rebellious act of the Colonist. They did the act because they wanted to show that they didn't want to pay taxes. So the Colonist planed to get on a ship carrying tea by dressing up as a Indian. When they got on the ship and they threw the bags of tea into the ocean.
  • Treaty of Paris/A New Constitution
  • It was the opening shot of the battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775, which began the American Revolutionary War between the colonist and the British troops and led to the creation of the United States of America
  • The battle of Yorktown was the final battle of the American Revolution. In this battle the British were forced to surrender to George Washington.
  • We give up
  • After the war none of the people wanted to stay with the British and made something for that. So they made a document named the treaty of Paris which is a document that says that the English gave up their territories in the Americas. The Constitution made the Americas into country. The Constitution also made the laws of the Government and made the Government and certain basic right for their citizens.
