- Charlotte uses her cobwebs to prey on bugs, so she thinks she can outwit bugs as well as people. So she woven the words "Some pig" onto her web. When Mr. Zuckerman went to feed Wilbur in the morning and noticed Charlotte's web, he was amazed. Charlotte's web and Wilbur spread in the small town, which made Wilbur famous, and many people drove to visit Wilbur every day.
