Storyboard Text
Sometimes in my room,Out the window I’d see,A wonderful creature,An elephant bee.
It had six tiny legs,A smile wide as the sea,Two big floppy ears,A trunk long as could be.
With big yellow stripes,And gigantic black eyes,It was a jolly beast,And seemed really quite wise.
From flower to flower,And plant to plant,Sometimes it would sing,Sometimes it would chant.
As it collected its prize,The pollen and nectar,The food for its clan,Sector by sector.
I wondered aloud,Just how could I see, Such a wonderful beast,As the elephant bee.
Finally it happened,No surprise to me,It was time to get started, To follow that bee.
I dispensed all my fears,I scoffed at my fate,That wonderful mystery,Could no longer wait.
So I made it my mission,To follow the beast,As it flew south by west,And then north by east.
I planned for the day,My knapsack in hand,To follow the bee,To its magical land.
It must have family,So happy and free,Maybe kids and A mate,I couldn’t wait to see.
I could not imagine,Just how that was so,So I summoned my nerve,It was now time to go.
Out the window I climbed,And I fell to the ground,When it fluttered on by,With barely a sound.
I was so close,So near to the beast,As it moved back and forth,And continued its feast.
I followed and watched,I tried not to be seen,It flew left and right,An efficient machine.
Well it went up and down,I didn’t get too close,From flower to flower,It took a huge dose.
