- Leadership, company culture, performance expectations, coworkers, group dynamics, rewards, job design have a significant impact in employee motivation. The more positive they are the better and vice-versa. Each employee will have unique motivations, attitudes, knowledge, skills and abilities as well as unique behaviors that will impact his and the entire organization performance. HRD and line management need to keep an open-minded approach and use all the tools and resources at hand to develop strategies to influence employees in the best way possible.
- As a Manager I need to support my team and my organization in the best way I can.
- There are multiple theories that help managers and HRD to understand motivational factors that influence employee behaviors and they need to understand and use a mix of those that work on their benefit. Change is constant and they will have to adapt as they grow and the internal and external environment changes over time.
- As head of HR I need to understand company's culture and vision to better give our organization the tools and resources to create a great environment for our employees!!
