- Hello and welcome to CIE news. Recently, there has been a large group of health care workers laid off as a result of structural unemployment casted by the government. These individuals have been protesting and sharing their anger all around this region. As you can see behind me, there is tons of waste and hazards as a result.
- GIVE US OUR JOBS
- We all work under a pharmaceutical unit, but we've been unemployed because they got machines to sterilize things for them! Now we're all unemployed!
- Care to tell us a little bit about what's going on here?
- Wellness? How is that of any relevance to someone like me? I just care about a healthy business cycle between all actors and efficiency in the work place.
- Remember, being employed is not the only thing that people need to be happy. Your people should be able to feel capable of living a balanced, free life directed by their choice only.
- Office
- Although that is also important, the citizens need your help! The wellness of the people is heavily affected by the recent lay offs. Although the unemployment of these people allows for more efficiency within the work place, unemployment has a huge impact on their happiness. Take a look out side and see how happy your people are.
- The unemployment of these workers creates huge inequality within society, and this doesn't only hurt those laid off in the medical field but anybody laid off due to technological advancement! Just because your region has a successful business cycle and a great GDP does not mean the civilians are happy. I'm afraid it's time you stop valuing your market value and put your societies happiness first.
- I suppose you're right. How can I start enforcing happier living for my people?
- Thank you so much! I hope my people can live better lives soon while I keep a healthy business cycle! That would allow for so much more opportunity and economic growth.

- I'm glad you asked! Happiness can be measured using the HPI, also known as the Happy Planet Index.
- This index mainly uses surveys, ecological footprint, and takes a look at the degree of inequality to indicate whether your region is happy or not. As long as you can reach equality among how everyone is treated, a long life expectancy for citizens born here, and receive good survey results then your people are doing great
