When the KNA was passed in 1854, John Brown was not happy with that decision.
Consequences of the raid
After the KNA act was passed, John Brown killed 5 of his Pro-slave neighbors after a group of pro slavers had attacked his town.
They had it coming!
On October 16th, 1859, John held 60 men hostage and killed 4 men in an effort to raid the Harpers Ferry armory. He ended up getting arrested and losing 10 of his men (two of which were his kids).

John Brown was charged with murder and treason. He was ordered to be hanged and on December 2nd, 1859, they did just that.
