- woman one gets suspicious at les because he looks up at the stars late at night then les reveals he has imsonid. This ruined their relationship.
- One major theme of the monsters are due on maple street by rod sterling is that never jump to conclusions. one example that supports this theme is on page 77 when women one had gotten suspicious at les Goodman becuase he would look up at the stars late at night as if he was waiting for something. Then les Goodman had revealed he had imsonia proving that he just could not go to sleep and just because she jumped to conclusions they had broken trust. Another example why this is a major theme is on 81 to 82 when Steve had want to go try to comfort Les because they thought he was the alien since his car turned on by itself Charlie had gotten mad and tried to make him the suspect and said that he had been working on something in the basement to talk to aliens.Then Steves wife tells Charlie that she had bought him a radio kit witch he works on in the basement proving Charlie speculations wrong; this had ruined Charlie and Steve's relationship. Last reason why never jump to conclusions is a major theme is because on page 82 to 83 when Charlie and the crowd had saw a mysterious creature. Charlie had not thought twice and shot the creature.When they went to go check they found it was Pete van horn, since Charlie had jumped to conclusions he had killed Pete van horn. In conclusion never jump to conclusions is the major theme of monsters are due on maple street.
