- It was 7 am, so excited mocha jumped out of her bed to get ready for her first day of 2nd grade.
- Slide: 2
- She immediately began getting ready, she rushed to the bathroom to brush her teeth and shower
- Slide: 3
- She picked out her favorite bow and brushed her hair until it was perfect!
- Slide: 4
- She hopped on the school bus urgently waiting for her school stop which felt like forever.
- Slide: 5
- Finally, it was her stop. She hopped off the bus and walked to her classroom.
- Slide: 6
- The excitement she felt was also matched with nervousness, this was her first day at a new school. So many thoughts took over her mind.

- As soon as mocha entered the classroom, everyone stopped and stared at her. But it was not a welcoming stare.

- Mocha felt judged and confused. This was not how she imagined her first day would be.

- “Ew why does she look like that?”
- “How does she have more than just one color?”
- “I’ve never seen anything like that before”
- Slide: 10
- Mocha was embarrassed for the rest of the day but tried her best to move past it

- Mocha could not decide which table to sit with: the brown, black, or white furred kids because she was all three
- Slide: 12
- Can I sit here?
- Ha Ha Ha!
- When she went to sit with the brown-furred kids they all looked at her in disgust and laughed at her

- She ran to the bathroom crying, eating her lunch in there alone.
- Slide: 14
- Finally, the day was over. Mocha’s mother came to pick her up.
- “Terrible”
- “How was school kid?”
- Mocha stayed silent for the rest of the car ride.

- When Mocha got home she immediately ran to the bathroom and grabbed the hair dye.
- She dyed all her fur brown, a single color, hoping to fit in with everyone else at school for the next day.
- Slide: 16
- She was convinced that her new plan was going to work until she showered and all the dye washed away.
- The next morning, Mocha woke up to get ready for school.
- She was back to her normal colors.
- Slide: 17
- When Mocha got to school there was a new girl, she looked just like Mocha! They both had brown, white, and black fur.
- Slide: 18
- Mocha and the new girl immediately clicked and became friends
- Mocha realized that she did not care what the rest of her classmates had to say about her and how special and unique her colors truly were.
