What I learned in Intro to Anthropology!

Storyboard Text

  • Slide: 1
  • I've learned that species's survival depends on more than just if they can survive,
  • I'll live, I blend in with the trees!
  • Oh no, will I be too warm to survive the heat?
  • But I'm harder to spot at night!
  • But also if they can reproduce. It also has much to do with luck and the environment around the species!
  • Slide: 2
  • Speaking of the environment having a big affect on species, I also learned about other patterns of subsistence! These patterns are often affected by culture and the environment around the species and vice-versa!
  • For example, Pastoralism was traditionally a very nomadic pattern of subsistence that referred to wandering with herd animals to raise them for food and nutrients!
  • Slide: 3
  • Finally, the last and very important thing that I learned in Anthropology is that culture often affects many parts of a society, between its economics, religion, politics, and family values! Every culture has its own unique way of living and it's important to respect that! With so much diversity, we are able to develop newer and more amazing things everyday! It's also why humanity has such a good shot at survival! We have so much variety in our living styles!
