  • The Stamp Act is about how the British made a law where stamps and newspapers would have tax on them. The American's obviously didn't like this rule and protested. They burned all the goods to the ground.
  • Boston Massacre
  •  The Quarting Act is about, if the British knock on the Americans door, they have to provide them with food and supplies. This rule was made by the British government, the Americans had no control over this.
  • Boston Tea Party
  • The Townshed Act is an event where the British Government put a tax on paint,tea, lead, and other imports. These are daily uses for the Americans and now they have to spend more on them. That's not right.
  • Coercive/Intolerable Acts
  • This is your punishment.

  • On March 5, 1770 was the Boston Massacre. There was 5 bodies dead on the ground. People blame Captain Preston for saying "Fire, Fire!" They also think it's because the colonists were harassing the soldiers.
  • When the tea tax was made, the colonists were very mad about it and decided to do something really bad. They dressed up as Indians and it wasn't a very good disguise because everyone knew they were the Americans. They dumped all the tea into the ocean. They got a big punishment after that.

  • This event is about a punishment that the British made for the Americans. They did this because of the Americans dumping all the tea into the sea. The British didn't let the Boston goods in and out. They shut down all courts in Boston and they got rid of the Massachusetts Government.
