- Ben was extremely effected by these drugs, since he was high and drunk at the same time. When he left the party, he decided to drive home in his car (Ben is 17), which was a terrible idea.
- Luckily, Ben did not crash his car, but he did drive recklessly due to the effects of being high and drunk and the same time. He got home safely, then went to bed.

- When Ben's mom came to wake him up, she noticed that he smelled of alcohol. This got Ben in trouble with his parents, and he was no longer able to play sports. Ben had now learned that he shouldn't use drugs or drink alcohol irresponsibly, since he recognized what the drugs and alcohol did.
- The morale of this story is that if you choose to drink alcohol irresponsibly and smoke/use drugs, it has consequences. As shown, if you choose to drive while high or under the influence, you may crash (Luckily, Ben did not crash). Also, it can intensify your anger, which will lead to unwanted social situations. And, if you do drugs while underage, not only will your parents likely punish you, but you can also get arrested.
