- Melanie Sat in her booth ignoring the teaching machine daydreaming about flamingos in her day dream she saw hundreds of beautiful flamingo's swarming a lake like a school of fish. They were so red Melanie called them fire birds because their feathers.(Simile)
- Falling Action
- Im sorry but all the flamingo's died out this one fooled many people.
- Melanie was thinking about when her parents would take her to natural park where the last place in the world birds live and world where there is grass, trees, and animals .
- Resolution
- Goodbye
- Melanie darted through the woods and spotted a flamingo standing by the lake but when she went to touch it fell and floated through the water. Melanie fell aprt and began to cry.(Hyperbole)
- Theme
- The caretaker explained that the flamingo's died out due to the poisiones water. Flamingo's had lived here for years but the park got crowded and to many people came.
- Melanie had heard everthing thing the care taker had said and stopped crying and said her goodbyes as the flamingo floated through the water.
- The theme of the story learing to accept things that happen in life.
