- Family: She was born to two Chilean parents. Her father was second secretary at the Chilean embassy and cousin to Salvador Allende, president of Chili from 1970 to 1973. After Tomas left them (her father) Isabel's mother moved to Santiago with her children.
- Things That She Accomplished: Allende has written over 26 novels and she is considered one of the first successful women novelists from Latin America.
- DOB: Isabel Allende was born Aug. 2, 1942 in Lima Peru and grew up in Chili and Santiago.Age: She is currently 81 years old as of Aug. 2 2023.Education: When she was younger she went to several public schools and was briefly homeschooled.
