- Different scenarios with the Medici
- Because if some of you fail, and the others succeed, the profit from the succeeding people will outweigh the failing people.
- I want to invest money in all of you, I believe you can all do something good.
- But why in so many?
- Okay, I will pay you back with the currency from Rome.
- I need money, can I borrow some from you?
- Yes, but pay me back in a different curreny so that it's not a sin.
- I think you are a good painter, I wan't to invest money in you.
- Okay, thank you.

- Diverseification. The Medicis would invest in very many different people and things, because this meant that if some failed, they still would make enough profit from the other so it wouldn't really matter. If they invested all their money in for example one person, and that person died, they would lose all their money. Diversification was a safe option.
- The Medicis trading money of different currencies. They made money that way because in every trade they made a little profit. They didn't lend money in interest, because that was a sin, so when they loaned money in different currencies because that wasn't a sin but the Medicis still made a profit.
- The Medicis invested their money in many paintors because they believed they could create nice art.The art was a big part of the Renaissance and when the Medicis made paintors more famous that was also making the Renaissance bigger.
