- Prison mate Floyd Wells (right) tells Smith and Hickock that the Clutters are very wealthy and that they could easily rob them
- This here is Holcomb, Kansas, where the Clutters live
- Dick and Perry met each other in prison. Since then, they teamed up to become criminals.
- My childhood was also horrible. There was this mean ol b*tch in the orphanage center who beat me for wetting the bed and put me in freezing cold water. I almost died of pneumonia but thankfully I don't have to be around her no more.
