- The house was empty as the AI called for the alarm.
- W A K E U P
- Five spots of paint remained after the bomb, the man, woman, and the children.
- The dog sadly passes away from its injuries, the mice come to clean up the dead animal.
- Tick-tock, seven o'clock, time to get up, time to get up,seven o 'clock! as if it were afraid that nobody would. The morning house lay empty.
- Animals were projected onto the walls in the empty nursery.
- Ten o'clock. The sun came out from behind the rain. The house stood alone in a city of rubble and ashes. This was the one house left standing.
- Fire! screamed a voice. Water pumps shot water from the ceilings.
- The dog ran upstairs, hysterically yelping to each door, at last realizing, as the house realized, that only silence was here.
- At last, the final house fell down leaving any trace of humanity gone.
- At four o'clock the tables folded like great butterflies back through the paneled walls. Four-thirt. The nursery walls glowed.
- The wind blew. A falling tree bough crashed through the kitchen window. Cleaning solvent, bottled, shattered over the stove. The room was ablaze in an instant!
- Dawn showed faintly in the east. Among the ruins, one wall stood alone.
